As of LiveEdge OS V10.0.0 and Cloud Agent V1.1.1, Videon devices and Cloud Control now offer the ability to dynamically configure which outputs you as the user intend to use without the required view of additional hard-coded outputs (which you may not be interested in using). This offers a better user experience for quick navigation and a cleaner UI appearance.
Local Web UI
Adding a new output for configuration:
-
On the left-hand side of the screen under Outputs, select “+ Add Profile”
-
A popup will appear named “Add Output” which will display all the currently supported and available outputs on your Videon platform
-
Select the desired output you wish to configure (in this case RTMP) and click Add
-
An RTMP output will now be available for configuration on your local Web UI
-
Repeat steps 1-4 for the additional desired outputs that you would like to configure
-
NOTE!!! The LiveEdge® Node / EdgeCaster hardware and computational capacity remain the same. Computational requirements are different for every workflow, so it is important to monitor LiveEdge® Cloud Control and be aware of usage. This new feature does not increase the computational limitations of any Videon products.
