At Videon, we prioritize the seamless functioning of your live streams powered by our LiveEdge devices. To ensure a robust and trouble-free experience, we have implemented the Customer Workflow Testing Verification Policy, which is designed to empower customers to understand and test the entirety of their workflow, from source to destination.
Comprehensive testing of your workflow is important for proactively addressing potential issues and meeting the commitments outlined in Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in the Videon Support Agreement. If a workflow has not been thoroughly tested, Videon has the right to void SLA requirements for Severity 1 issues. Adhering to SLA standards requires customers' engagement in a thorough testing process.

Create the Workflow Chart
After thoroughly checking the functionality of all your externalities within the workflow, it’s time to create a workflow chart. This chart should include information on each component’s make and model, connection types, and configurations. It serves as a visual guide for both testing and troubleshooting.
Our support team has developed a template for you. An example is also included in the template. Please download and edit it to your preferences.
Testing Timeline
Testing every device in your workflow is essential for a seamless live streaming experience. We strongly recommend testing at least one week in advance of your event to identify and address any issues proactively. This timeframe allows for thorough examination and troubleshooting using the workflow chart.
You can submit a ticket if you experience issues while testing your device, and our support team will be happy to assist you in your troubleshooting!
Submit Your Workflow Chart
Once testing is complete, please submit the workflow chart to techsupport@videonlabs.com. This ensures our support team has a comprehensive overview, expediting issue resolution if needed. Our support team engineers will contact you if further information is needed.
In conclusion, our Customer Workflow Testing Verification Policy is aimed at empowering customers to proactively manage and understand their streaming workflows. By adhering to this policy, you contribute to a smoother live streaming experience and expedited issue resolution.
