Connecting to LiveEdge® Max

Steps for setting up your LiveEdge® Max:

1. Plug an Ethernet cable into both the Videon device and the local network.
   
   
2. Plug the provided power cord into the Videon device and a power outlet.
   
   
3. Plug an HDMI or SDI source into the Videon device.
    

Let it boot!

• Using the Discovery App

• Install the Discovery Application (click below to download)
  1.Windows Discovery App
  2.Mac OS Discovery App
  3.Linux 64-bit Discovery App
• Once installed, run the Discovery Application
• Make sure your computer is connected to the same network as the Videon device you wish to connect to.
• Click on the IP address of your device (For first-time setup, the name of a device is the Serial Number located on the bottom sticker) and you are now connected to the Videon Web Browser Interface, also known as the Videon Web UI!

• Using the front panel screen

  1. Press any key.
  2. Using the arrow keys on the front panel, scroll down to "Info".
  3. Select the "Info" option using the center button.
  4. Observe your device's IP address.
  5. Enter the IP of the Videon device into a Chrome browser URL.

• Using LiveEdge® Cloud Control

  1. 1. Navigate to Devices > All Devices on the Cloud Control platform, if you have an existing account (https://www.videoncloud.com)
     2. Find your desired Videon device or search for the serial number
     3. Device IP will display the internal IP address of your Videon device
     4. Hovering over the Device IP will display the external IP address of your Videon device
        
     5. Enter the IP of the Videon device into a web browser URL from a laptop connected on the same network to access the local web UI

• If you know the IP

1. Simply enter the IP of the Videon device into a Chrome browser URL.
