When utilizing the Cloud Control portal to view your Videon devices, you can customize your Browser Specific Settings to view your portal and device lists in different ways.
Different Things to Configure:
- Navigate to videoncloud.com
- Sign into your account
- Click Settings in the upper-right hand corner
- Select Manage Account
- Under My Account, scroll down to view your Browser Specific Settings
Underneath User Settings, there are two different toggles to change your portal view.
-
Enable Dark Mode: Toggling on this feature will give your cloud portal a darker view as shown below.
- Hide Banners: Enabling this feature will hide general information that we post at the top of the cloud portal.
Underneath Device List, there are a couple of different ways to change your device list view of your column layout and how you choose to view those columns.
-
Device List Columns: Within this section, you can change the organization of what and where is listed in each row of a device.
- Arrows: The up and down arrows in this column section will change the way each rows column setup is ordered in. For example, pressing the up arrow on the Device IP column would move it up in the order above the Streaming Status. The down arrow would move it below the Firmware Version column.
- Trashcan: This icon will simply delete the column from the selection.
- + Add Column: When clicking this, you are giving various options in the toggle such as: Metadata, Streaming Status, Device IP, External IP, Firmware Status, Serial Number, Mac Address, and Last State Update. If metadata is selected, you get to choose which keys you would like to be able to view about each device from the Metadata Key toggle provided. Once configurations are selected, click Add Column.
- Reactive Columns/ Horizontal Scrollbar: A reactive column will just shrink or expand to the size of your screen to give you the best view of each row. The horizontal scrollbar will keep it the default size, except you must use the scrollbar underneath the device list to view all the columns of each row.
You can lastly undo or save the current changes you had just recently configured. Note that new changes will not appear on your portal view unless you saved the column layout. If you don't want to make any changes and just reset your current ones to the default settings, select the Use Defaults button then click save column layout.
