Setting up the Videon device as an encoder

1. Connect to the Videon device
2. Navigate to Encoder Control in the Streaming Dashboard or navigate to Device > Configuration in LiveEdge Cloud Control
3. Click on the RTSP output under Outputs
   
4. Select the desired valid Video and Audio Source
5. Under the RTSP Output
   1. Enter any desired Stream Name or the default
   2. Enter the port to stream on into the Port field
6. Click the On/Off switch next to RTSP Output to ON
7. Click Save

A common decoder used in testing is VLC Media Player. Once installed on your computer, simply navigate to "Media > Open Network Stream..." and enter rtsp://internal_encoder_ip:port/StreamName (i.e. rtsp://10.0.0.100:554/default) , click Play, and you should see your stream! Note that the computer you are decoding the stream on will be required to be connected on the same sub-network as the Videon device to play back the stream.
