LiveEdge® Max: Dual Input Configuration

On the latest Videon streaming platform, LiveEdge® Max, users now have the option of two SDI inputs or one SDI Input and one HDMI Input!

Two 12G-SDI Input Configuration

To configure your Max for two SDI input configurations, use the following steps.

1. Navigate to the device's local web UI.
2. Under the AV Input section on the left-hand side, select the current Input Settings.
3. Under Video Input, click the drop-down.
4. Select SDI Video.
   
   
5. Click Save.
6. Under AV Input, click "+ Add Profile".
   
   
7. Select the drop-down under Hardware Channel and select the available input number (0 or 1). Click Add.
   
8. With the newly created Input Settings selected, under Video Input, click the drop-down.
9. Select SDI Video.
   
10. Click Save.
11. Congratulations, you can now use your Max to stream using two SDI inputs!

One SDI Input + One HDMI Input Configuration

To configure your Max for two SDI input configurations, use the following steps.

1. Navigate to the device's local web UI.
2. Under the AV Input section on the left-hand side, select the current Input Settings.
3. Under Video Input, click the drop-down.
4. Select SDI Video.
   
   
5. Click Save.
6. Under AV Input, click "+ Add Profile".
   
   
7. Select the drop-down under Hardware Channel and select the available input number (0 or 1). Click Add.
   
8. With the newly created Input Settings selected, under Video Input, click the drop-down.
9. Select HDMI Video.
   
10. Click Save.
11. Congratulations, you can now use your Max to stream using one SDI input and one HDMI input!
