The easiest way to get the GUID of a Videon device is via the LiveEdge® Cloud Control UI. This guide will focus on that method.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites for this guide are:

• Access to a LiveEdge® Cloud Control account
• The above account is assigned to the Organization that the device is adopted into

Finding the device GUID via LiveEdge® Cloud Control UI

1. Switch to the Organization containing the device via https://videoncloud.com/auth/organizations
   
2. Find the desired device in https://videoncloud.com/devices
3. The browser’s URL bar should now display the GUID at the end of the URL as follows:
   • https://videoncloud.com/devices/[DEVICE_GUID]
4. The gathered device GUID can now be used in making API calls that require a device GUID!
