Why didn't I receive a prompt to enter a password after adding a security password to my encoder?

Problem

After successfully setting the admin password, the web UI does not prompt for authentication

Clearing the browser's cache and refreshing the page will trigger a password prompt (CRTL + F5 in some browsers)
