Videon's live streaming encoders offer the ability to stream to 3 RTMP destinations at the same time. This article will serve as a guide on how to utilize this feature.
Why use Multi-RTMP?
Since Multi-RTMP can help you deliver your video content to multiple destinations at the same time, this helps reach a more diverse audience as there are viewers that can only be reached exclusively on specific platforms (for example YouTube Live vs Facebook Live). Additionally, having all of your streams come from a single device helps reduce possible failure points and eliminates the need for multiple devices or a re-streaming service.
How to use Multi-RTMP
To use Multi-RTMP navigate to Output Settings in Encoder Control and select RTMP 1, 2, or 3. For each RTMP, set up the respective destination:
The most common use is going to YouTube and Facebook at the same time as those are the most prominent free platforms.
