Update Instructions

Locally via the Videon Web UI:

Ensure that your device has access to the public internet
- Having no internet connection will cause the "Your software is up to date" message to appear since the device cannot connect to our update server
- Navigate to the "Advanced" page
- Click "Check for Update"

When you click "Check for Update," a new dialog box will appear if an update is available.
- If new software is available, you will be asked if you would like to update now.
- Depending on the size of the update, you may be asked to insert an SD card to complete the update.

The following additions will be present only when updating from software versions >V10.4.0.

- The version number of the update that is available will be displayed.
- A new "View Release Notes" button will open the release notes on the Videon Help Center so you can review the latest features, improvements, and fixes.
- In the banner at the top of the web UI, the text is now bold orange and when clicked on, will also open the release notes on the Videon Help Center.

- Press "Yes" to update
- Wait for the software update to complete
- Once the update is complete, refresh the cache
- Windows: ctrl + F5
- Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
- Linux: ctrl + F5
