To set up a Videon device for use on a statically configured network (i.e. a network that requires static IP assignment) from LiveEdge® Cloud Control, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Device Configuration -> System.
- Under Network Configuration, select Manual (Static).
- Enter the static addressing information compatible with the network the Videon device is (or will be) connected to.
- This may require talking with the network administrator if you do not know what to enter
- Click Save.
**In the case that dynamic (DHCP) addresses are not provided by the connected network, products support direct connect to the device in order to set up a static IP. To learn how to do this, follow our instructions here.
