NOTE: Please make sure to write down any settings you may need to restore after resetting your Videon device
As of Cloud Agent version V1.10.0, performing the Reset Settings function is supported via LiveEdge® Cloud Control. For device local software versions > V10.0, performing Reset Settings will delete all created inputs, video and audio profiles/encoders, and outputs.
To create new outputs for device configuration, follow these instructions. The process for creating inputs and video or audio profiles/encoders is very similar in the appropriate sub-section(s) of the Cloud Control platform.
The Reset Settings button resets all configurations back to default with the exception of:
- Network settings
- Device Name
- Authentication settings
How to Reset the Settings from Cloud Control
Navigate to the desired device whose settings you would like to reset.
- Click the orange COMMANDS button in the top-right corner of the desired device:
- Click "Reset Settings"
- Type "RESET" into the textbox and then click the orange button to RESET SETTINGS.
- After clicking RESET SETTINGS, an orange bar will load showing that the command is taking effect. The following message will appear, and the device will reboot while performing the Reset Settings function.
- You may click the orange CLOSE button at this time and wait for the device to come back online.
